I love angels! This canvas was inspired by jewelry angels that I've seen. I love how so many shapes can be used to create a personalized angel. The IOD Molds by Prima are perfect for this idea! So many choices to create your own!
You can watch the video right here on my blog!
I'm including some close-ups of the project. It is easy to trim the pieces before they are dry. I did that with the angel's head which you can see in this photo.
In my video, you will see that I changed the banner pieces. Here is a close-up of what they look like on the finished project. I kept them light colored and made them a bit smaller for balance.
Lastly, this photo along with some of the others, shows details of all the processes. This one is soft and sparkly!

Summer is the perfect time to celebrate all things ice cream! At Prima we were challenged to use Prima products to create Ice Cream Cones. How FUN! So, I got busy with some of my favorite Prima and got to creating!!
Here is what I came up with:
If you follow me, you know I LOVE paper clay and the IOD Moulds! I rolled out some paper clay, stamped it and then formed it to make the cone and wafer for my project. I used the new IOD Medallion mould for the 'cherry on top'!
After stenciling and using watercolors to get my base complete. I cut a small foam ball in half and added Prima's boxed flowers for a fluffy ice cream cone.
Tip: I used gold tipped pins and glue to attach the flowers to the foam ball.
The little resin bees from Prima are so sweet and I loved adding one to the cone and using one for the sentiment. Get it? Bee Sweet?
As always, I invite you to the Prima blog to see what the rest of the team came up with! There are so many sweet Ice Cream projects!!
Making pretty cards couldn't be easier with Prima's Watercolor Books! You don't even have to be able to draw! The images are already created for you. All you have to do is color, cut and go!
I used Prima's Coloring Book 4 for my cards.
I added some color and texture to my backgrounds using the same yellow paint, stencils and modeling paste.
Adding a few foam dots under the images makes the beautiful flowers really take center stage! It also allows a great way to layer the ribbon.
Since this was so easy and relaxing, I created a couple of more cards.
Don't forget to go by the Prima Blog to see what the design team is creating! This month is Color Madness and there are so many ways to color with Prima!!
Hi everyone! Today, I'm sharing a Bloom Girl Project. I always have so much fun creating with these stamps! This stamp always reminds me of my daughter. Because of that, when I made this little sign, I used a spin on her nickname, Sunshine. :)
I stamped and cut her out of watercolor paper. These stamps are large and so fun to work with! Using Frank Garcia's French Riviera collection, worked great with her to give her a beachy feel.
I used Prima
Watercolor pencils to color her and then added some touches with the Color
Bloom mists to give her a bit of summer shine.
Hi everyone! I made this card for Prima's Blog using some of the Gorgeous Prima Boxed Flowers. There are so many choices with the boxed flowers and each one is just as beautiful as the others! They are also such a great value!
For this card, I used some of the white flowers. These are so beautiful and I love how easy they are to alter to fit any project.
For this card, I used the Watercolor Confections to color both the card and the flowers. With all the products that Prima makes, there are so many ways to add color to the white Boxed Flowers.
AND... don't forget about all the terrific Prima embellishments! I used Resist Tags, Wood Icons, a Prima Stencil and even some Prima wire to embellish!
As always, don't forget to check out the Prima Blog for even more ideas!! There are always so many beautiful projects to inspire!
Have you had the chance to play with the new paintables? These fun, beautiful resist papers come in 6x6 pads and are made with watercolor paper. They have both white resist and black prints on the pages, so you can choose to customize them quickly and easily with any of Prima's watercolors.
I used the new Watercolor Confections to add the color to my base for this little sign. It's somthing that can be hung anywhere for the Easter and Spring season.
I then used some Prima watercolor paper to weave to make the little basket.
Finally, a few little Prima flowers and extras to finish it off!
Take a peek at the Prima Blog today to see other ideas from the design team using the new Paintables Pads! You will love how beautiful and easy these are to use!
I had the opportunity to create with the new Prima Watercolor Confections for CHA projects. Let me tell you that these are amazing!! They are so pigmented and come in the cutest containers! A little bit goes a LONG WAY, too!
By starting with the new 6x6 Resist Pads, I was able to create some little shadow box frames that will look nice in my home. This is the Resist Pad that goes with the Tales of You and Me collection. It's beautiful!
Here is a photo of the first one I created. I chose to use the black printed pages for this project to coordinate beautifully with my 6x6 shadow box frames.
This close-up shows some of the dimension. The resist pad is also especially versatile with the pages that have beautiful elements that you can cut out and use as embellishments to add dimension. And LOOK at theses NEW FLOWERS! They are perfect with watercolor backgrounds!
Here is the second one of the set. It is very similar to the other one so that it will coordinate with the first one. I chose to use the same colors and the same types of embellishments, too.
Don't forget the Watercolor Confections when you are wanting to coordinate your ribbons, trims and other embellishments with you projects. I colored them all, even the wood with the confections and it worked perfectly!
Start watching for these in your LSS or favorite online store! You are going to WANT these!!
Tonight, I did a class on these cards for Live with Prima! It is always so fun to be on Live with Prima whether it's chatting with friends or teaching some of my favorite projects.
I want to give a HUGE shout out to all of you who take time to watch, comment and hang out with me! It means the world to me that you take time out of your day or night to watch!

For this card, to get the top strip of color, I used Yellow Mustard with a touch of Frost. The middle vibrant red color is Carmine Red. The lowest strip is Carmine Red with a touch of Worn Leather.
For the following Card, the top strip of color is the same. It's a mix of Yellow Mustard with a touch of Frost. The center strip is, again, Carmine Red with a touch of Worn Leather. The lower strip is Lime Wedge with a touch of Frost.
Tip: The Frost (White) goes a long way. Start with your primary color and then add just a little Frost. With the Carmine Red, again start with the primary color (Carmine Red) and add just a little bit of the Worn Leather. You can always add more, if needed.
Tip: Color your white wire with any Bloom Sprays to match. I used Empress Gold to color this wire.
