Prima and Michaels

The final countdown is happening!!  Only 2 more days until Prima starts showing up in Michaels!  I'm really excited, especially for those of us who don't have local scrapbook stores in our areas!  We haven't had one here in YEARS!  I'm also hoping that the limited release will bring new people to our love of Prima!

I've been a huge fan of Julie Nutting for years!  I loved her even before she started designing for Prima!

I created these little favor bags using Julie Nutting planner stamps, Finnabair glitter and lots of cute stuff from Michaels!

I love all the little sayings that are included in this stamp set.  Yes, it's for Planners, but so much MORE!  My friend is hosting a 'Craft Party' soon, and we will be using these little bags for favors!

I also wanted to remind everyone that this is FUN!  I think in trying to create the 'perfect' project, sometimes we forget why we do this and why we LOVE it!

I hope that all of you will take a peek at Michaels soon!!  I know that I will be checking each time to see what they have of these terrific products!

Video Tutorial for Prima and Michaels Stores

Have you heard?  Prima is going to be in Michaels Stores?  So exciting, especially, for those of us who don't have a LSS!  Michaels will soon have Prima Gesso, so I created a project using just the Black and White Gesso.  After some requests, I created a video of how I did it!  You don't have to be a painter to do this!   If you can paint an imperfect circle and leaves, you've got this!

You can see the video right here, too!

Here is a close-up of the top.  :)

And one of the side views!

Hope you will give this a try!  If you do, I would love to see it!  Be sure to start looking at Michaels on May 25 when the Prima Products will be showing up in stores!

Butterfly Canvas for Live with Prima

It's time for my new Live with Prima video!  As you probably know, I like to turn my canvases over and use the back of them.  For this project, I wanted to mix it up and build upward on my canvas.    You can see the video below with complete instructions on how I created this canvas.

You can watch the video here:

Here is a close up of the new Memory Hardware frame.  I love these things!  Also, the video includes directions for how I colored it with Prima's new Waxes from Finnabair!

Be sure to go by the Prima Blog to see all the wonderful inspiration there!
