Wow! Have you seen the new Bloom Stamps from Prima Marketing and Jamie Dougherty? If not, you certainly want to jet over to the Prima Blog to see all of them!!
I used the new Ginger stamp from the Bloom Collection to make this plaque. Being a Texas girl, I was thrilled to see a 'country' girl in the collection. She's beautiful and because she's a stamp, she is so easy to use and dress exactly how you choose.
I've created a step by step tutorial to walk you through what I chose to do with my Bloom Stamp.
Step 1: Stamp Bloom Girl Ginger onto Watercolor Paper. Use Prima Watercolor Pencils to color stamped image.
Step 2: Cut out Bloom Girl from Watercolor paper. Add flowers and Artisan Leather Paper to embellish Bloom Girl. Use foam to the back to add dimension when attaching Bloom Girl to the project.
Step 3: Use Chicken Wire stencil and Matte Gel on wood plaque. While gel is wet, sprinkle with micro beads. Splatter Color Bloom Worn Leather over project.
Step 4: Attach Metal Embellishments and Bloom Girl to the project. Tie a raffia Bow at the top. Embellish using Prima flowers and trim.
Don't forget to go to the Prima Marketing Blog to get other great ideas using the Bloom Stamps!! The design team has done some beautiful projects and you don't want to miss out on a chance to win some of your own Bloom Stamps!
