Prima Love Clippings

Since it's Valentine's Day, what better way to celebrate that using Prima's Love Clippings?

I created this layout using it and it's LOVE, for sure!

This collection has a beautiful vintage feel with so many rose gold foiled accents.  It fits perfectly for layouts and so much more!  It's all about Love and that is in style any day of the year!

Layers, Layers, Layers!  I added so many to this layout!  I also love the sentiments that are included in the ephemera and in the collection pads!

Add matching gold accents to the flowers, pulled this together.  I love the look of the edges being colored while keeping the flower color true.

Prima BAP November!

It's that time again!  Time for the Prima Challenges!  My favorite part of the challenges is that there is something for everyone. If you haven't played in a while, Prima has added a card challenge to the line up, too!

I did a sample for the BAP challenge.  The BAP is always such a great jumping off place for layouts.  I chose to pick up the diagonal idea, a few placements and let my style shine through.

I used lots of Prima's Sweet Peppermint Collection by Frank Garcia.  I love the cute look of this collection!  It's perfect for creating EVERYTHING!  It complimented these sweet photos perfectly!

Prima BAP Challenge

It's time for Prima's October Challenges!  As always, there is a great Build a Page sketch and a beautiful Prima Product Picks combination!  If you haven't seen it yet, Prima has also added a Cards and Tags challenge, too!  So many fun ways to participate in Prima Challenges!!

There were a lot of thing to love about this month's BAP sketch.  I chose to use a few of the details of the sketch and then let my own style dictate where my layout ended up. 

 

I really loved the stripes and used embroidery floss as a nod to the stripes.  I also chose to stick with the basic placement, as well as, the 3 pictures.  Instead of using 3 separate poses, I chose a favorite, printed it in color, black and white and dialed down the saturation for the 3rd picture.

Salvage District from Prima!

Have you had a chance to play with Salvage District from Prima Marketing?  If not, it's not too late!  You WANT to play with this one!!  I know I talk about it every time I use it, but it must be repeated that the versatility of this collection is amazing!!

This is a layout that I created using a photo of my daughter.

Check out these gorgeous flowers!!  I love the vines and how you can use them alone or tuck in other flowers for an even more full look!

Prima June BAP

It's one of my favorite times of month at Prima!  It's time for the BAP and PPP challenges!

Rikka provided a beautiful sketch for us to work with this month!  (She always does!)  The sketch has options for 3 photos, but I have been wanting to scrapbook this photo of my daughter and I thought the sketch was perfect for it!  So, I took the placement of the 3 photos and just used one larger one.

 

I added the Prima Watercolor Confections to the background to start the background.  I was able to get the feel of water with them, which is exactly what I wanted.  I also used a Prima Stencil with Modeling Paste and the new Mini Art Stones to add some 'sandy' texture to compliment the photo, too.  These things together worked perfectly!

Finally, I embellished with lots of chipboard and the French Riviera Vine to complete the look of my layout.  I'm loving the French Riviera Collection for beach photos!  These colors are some of my all time favorites!

Salvage District

Hi everyone!  I wanted to share a layout that I created with the Prima Salvage District collection. The versatility of this collection is amazing!!  This collection makes me happy!

The green flowers sit so beautifully on these grey backgrounds. In fact, any colors would work perfectly with these backgrounds!

The sticker sheets make gorgeous embellishments and I love all the brads and wood pieces.

More Tales of You and Me from Prima

I couldn't seem to get enough of this collection from Prima Marketing by Frank Garcia!  If you are looking for a romantic look, Tales of You and Me needs to be in your scrap room! The colors, the flowers and the other embellishments come together beautifully no matter the subject matter!

For this layout, I focused on a family photo.  

There are lots of things to fussy cut from this collection.  A few select pieces layer so well with all the embellishments that are ready to use.  Adding some beads just adds a little something extra to flowers that are already lovely.

Prima doilies misted with Tea Stain Color Bloom are a perfect match.   Trust me, you are going to love this collection and not want to wait very long or it will be gone!

Prima Tales of You and Me Collection

Hi everyone!  Today, I'm sharing a layout that I did with Prima's Tales of You and Me Collection.  This collection is so beautiful and I love all the flowers and embellishments that coordinate with it! 

 

These butterflies are included in the wood icons package.  They are so lovely!  I actually even order another package, just so I can have more!   I stitched their little trails with embroidery floss.

Check out all the gorgeous flowers!  There are several styles and sizes to make embellishing easy!   There are also metal pieces in the ephemera package.  Be still my heart!

There are also plenty of fussy cutting pieces and a 6x6 collection pad that includes stickers and alphabets!  EVERYTHING is included that coordinates beautiful!

Prima March PPP

Today at Prima is the Prima Product Picks post!  It's always fun to play along!  The colors this month are just gorgeous!  In addition to that, they fit beautifully with the current releases. 

I chose to use the Salvage District Collection to start building my layout.  The beautiful greys that are the base of this collection make it perfect to add any colors that you would like to.

I loved adding some of the Christine Adolph Adhesive Rub-ons and Foils to my page.  I simply cut out some of the square pieces, put them on transparency and tucked them around the photo.  I also used some of the beautiful words for my title.

Also, this IOD Mould was a fun addition to my page.  I also added one at the bottom of the photo.  A bit of the new Opal Magic paint gave them a beautiful finish.

Salvage District from Prima Marketing Inc.

Hey everyone!  Today, I'm sharing a page that I created using the Salvage District Collection from Prima!  The versatility of this collection continues to amaze me!  There are so many possibilities wrapped up in one gorgeous collection.  Today, I chose to give my page a bit of edge to go with this fun picture of my daughter.

I didn't add color to this one, choosing instead to keep it to a monochromatic look to go with a black and white photo.  It worked great with all the Prima foil and microbeads to add lots of fun wording.   The adhesive rub-ons are great to use to get this look.

I also purposely broke a few pieces of the IOD Moulds to tuck in.  I loved the extra touch this gave to my layout.

Color Fun with Prima!

Today at Prima is all about color combinations!  The design team was given several color combinations to choose from and they were all fabulous!  You can see all the combos on Prima's blog.

Here is the layout that I created.  I loved the blues, yellow and grey that were included in my color combination.   I chose to build my layout on a piece of the Prima Resist Canvas to start the process.

I used Glistening Waves Color Bloom to color the canvas.

 

The new Royal Menagerie Flowers mixed with a few Garden Fable flowers worked perfectly for the embellishing with these colors.

The photo inspiration that went with the color combination included birds.  That reminded me of these sweet little Prima Resin Owls.  I added a bit of Chrome Mist to them to pick up the greys.  I also used some Prima Say it In Crystal pearls to build into my clustered areas.

For a few extra details, I added some Prima Sunshine Wire and some grey beads.

Flying Unicorn August Kit

Hey everyone!  I'm sharing my last layout for Flying Unicorn.

I have decided to step down from Flying Unicorn.  It has been a fabulous year with Flying Unicorn!  I truly enjoyed my time with Alda and all the other Creative Team members! The kits are and will continue to be so beautiful!!!  I'm a big fan and will continue to be!

So, here is my layout!

The kits are filled to the brim with beautiful things!  I did a bit of fussy cutting and a lot of layers.

Of course, the Prima flowers are the perfect finishing touch!!

More July Kit from Flying Unicorn

This is another layout that I created using the Flying Unicorn July Kits.  Every one of the Flying Unicorn Kits is beautiful, but this month's are just right up my alley!  I can't say enough about how fabulous it was to work with!

 

 

For this layout, I wanted to focus on the beautiful shapes that I was able to cut from the paper.  I chose to carry those shapes across my page with some stitching.  This can take a bit of time, but I love the extra touch that it adds to my background.

I fussy cut the 'journal spots' from paper in the kits.  Instead of adhering them directly to the paper, I first added some foam tape to add dimension.  I think it allowed them to stand out instead of getting lost in my design.  It also gave me some perfect places to layer my flowers and embellishments.

A few more details were added with wood, brads and, of course, the title.
