Today it is my turn to share some cards that I made. The Vintage Groove collection made these really easy to do. There are wonderful papers, great stickers and of course, the beautiful ribbons.
With my smile card, I really concentrated on just the paper. I just fussy cut some of the flowers and the title spot, then added lots of pop dots. Finish up with a bit of hand stitching and a bow.
My next card is something new that I tried. I used a punch to make three scalloped squares. Instead of using the punched shapes, I used the negative that was left after punching. Again, I added pop dots between the layers of paper to add a bit of extra dimension. Super easy! Add some punched and scrunched flowers, pop on one of the fabulous journal cards and that's it! Another easy one!

ReplyDeleteI'm a beginner card maker, and your work is such an inspiration! I'd love to win this collection so I can make something like you've done. I especially like the combination of colors your used in your "Smile" card, and I always like scalloped edges. That hand stitching just makes the whole thing say "I made this just for you!"
