Prima and Julie Nutting

As a long time Julie Nutting fan, I loved when she teamed up with Prima Marketing.The stamps and other Prima products were and are such a terrific pairing!!  Well, guess what??? They have done it again with these precious baby stamps!!

The stamps come with a full wardrobe to have both girl and boy babies.  In addition, there are absolutely adorable accessories.  

I created a gift bag and tag set with the new stamps.  I loved that I could specialize my bag to fit a girl, in this case, or a boy.

The stroller stamps are perfect to make a border on my bag and if you look closely, you will also see a little teddy bear.  There are so many cute additions!

More July Kit from Flying Unicorn

This is another layout that I created using the Flying Unicorn July Kits.  Every one of the Flying Unicorn Kits is beautiful, but this month's are just right up my alley!  I can't say enough about how fabulous it was to work with!

 

 

For this layout, I wanted to focus on the beautiful shapes that I was able to cut from the paper.  I chose to carry those shapes across my page with some stitching.  This can take a bit of time, but I love the extra touch that it adds to my background.

I fussy cut the 'journal spots' from paper in the kits.  Instead of adhering them directly to the paper, I first added some foam tape to add dimension.  I think it allowed them to stand out instead of getting lost in my design.  It also gave me some perfect places to layer my flowers and embellishments.

A few more details were added with wood, brads and, of course, the title.

Prima BAP-July

I'm so excited to share my first official Prima DT post!

This is for the Prima BAP for July.  We were given a terrific sketch to use and this is the layout that I created using the beautiful Garden Fable Collection.  

You can see the sketch on the Prima Blog. 

I loved all the frames in the sketch and had to use them on my page.  I turned them into little shaker boxes.  The feather was also a great fit with the sketch, especially when I traded the butterflies for birds.

Of course, I layered in some flowers!!  Must have flowers!!

July Reveal at Flying Unicorn

I'm pretty sure that this is my FAVORITE kit EVER!  Alda has knocked it out of the park this month!!  This one revolves around these gorgeous Lemon Craft papers.  The embellishments just keep coming with the Kit of the Month and all of the add ons!!  It's just FABULOUS!!!

Prima Design Team

In 2006, I started scrapbooking.   It wasn't long before I discovered online scrapbook communities and got hooked into the scrapbook world in a whole new way.  I discovered scrapbooking in a way that allowed me to indulge more in my creativity, as well as, preserve our memories. There were so many things and ideas that I hadn't though of and one of the things that I loved most from the very beginning was flowers.  In fact, the first time I made an online profile, I commented on my love of flowers.  That profile has changed some over the years, but it still says I'm a flower girl.   So you might guess from all this that I'm just a tiny bit over the moon today!  I have been doing the happy dance for a little while and waiting patiently (ok impatiently) to share my news!

I'm so excited to see my name on this list!!!  I am still shocked that I actually get to be on the Prima Design Team!  Dream. Team.

Flying Unicorn June Kits

Hi y'all!  I am sharing one last layout that I made with the Flying Unicorn June kits.  It bears repeating that there are so many different products in the kits that make so many different looks possible!  If you have seen my other projects with the kits, you will know that this one is completely different.

The title works great with this photo.  Although you can't see it well in the photo, the girls are wearing heart shaped ring pops.  They have a Valentine's girls dinner each year and have a great time!

You can see here that I used mixed media elements including the fun stencil and grain from the kits.  The doilies are stamped and cut out then attached with foam for some more dimension.    Don't forget to look for all the chipboard pieces, stickers and of course, beautiful Prima Flowers!
