Prima BAP November!

It's that time again!  Time for the Prima Challenges!  My favorite part of the challenges is that there is something for everyone. If you haven't played in a while, Prima has added a card challenge to the line up, too!

I did a sample for the BAP challenge.  The BAP is always such a great jumping off place for layouts.  I chose to pick up the diagonal idea, a few placements and let my style shine through.

I used lots of Prima's Sweet Peppermint Collection by Frank Garcia.  I love the cute look of this collection!  It's perfect for creating EVERYTHING!  It complimented these sweet photos perfectly!

Prima BAP Challenge

It's time for Prima's October Challenges!  As always, there is a great Build a Page sketch and a beautiful Prima Product Picks combination!  If you haven't seen it yet, Prima has also added a Cards and Tags challenge, too!  So many fun ways to participate in Prima Challenges!!

There were a lot of thing to love about this month's BAP sketch.  I chose to use a few of the details of the sketch and then let my own style dictate where my layout ended up.

I really loved the stripes and used embroidery floss as a nod to the stripes.  I also chose to stick with the basic placement, as well as, the 3 pictures.  Instead of using 3 separate poses, I chose a favorite, printed it in color, black and white and dialed down the saturation for the 3rd picture.

Prima Product Picks

Each month, Prima Product Picks come out.  It is such a fun way to be inspired to use your beautiful Prima Products. This month was no different!  The picks were a beautiful mix of colors and products.

 2015-October's-Prima-Picks

For this color combination, I chose to use lots of beautiful Prima Art Ingredients.  I also added some of the elements from the product picks.  This was a lot of fun to make and will fit perfectly in my home for the fall season.

The chalkboard was also inspired by the PPP photos.  Canvas letters made it easy even without great chalk board writing skills.

In the following photo, you can see how pretty the glass glitter, glitter and micro beads look on these simple paper mache pumpkins.  I even added some to the flowers.

The Prima Die Cut leaves are so beautiful as they are, but adding some mica powder to soft gel gave them a beautiful sheen.

Add a bit of ribbon and raffia and you have easy, pretty pieces to add to your fall decor.

Be sure to go by the Prima Blog to see all the gorgeous projects that the design team has made!  We would love to see y'all play along and can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Prima BAP-July

I'm so excited to share my first official Prima DT post!

This is for the Prima BAP for July.  We were given a terrific sketch to use and this is the layout that I created using the beautiful Garden Fable Collection.

You can see the sketch on the Prima Blog

I loved all the frames in the sketch and had to use them on my page.  I turned them into little shaker boxes.  The feather was also a great fit with the sketch, especially when I traded the butterflies for birds.

Of course, I layered in some flowers!!  Must have flowers!!

Be sure to go by the Prima Blog to see what the other DT members came up with!  You won't want to miss the samples for both the BAP and the PPP!  Be sure to play along, too!!
