LWP Video Class - St. Tropez Collection

The Live with Prima Team decided to use the St. Tropez Collection this month!  It was so fun to see how we all used it differently.  My project is a 12x12 Canvas that features a photo of my daughter and a message in a bottle.  My favorite color is blue, so I really played up the blue on this project.  It also fits the photo perfectly!

You can watch the video right here!

For this one, I want to point out that I tried to include every step.  Normally, I have done the project ahead of time and you miss a lot of the back and forth of design choices. So many times, I have tried to explain that there is a lot of adding or taking things off as I design.   For classes, I and other teachers, have already thought out, created, moved things, etc. before you ever see the project or take the class. For this project, there is so much movement to the paint that it was the perfect project to show you that although it was fine without the last few additions of more paint, etc., adding those final details really finished it and I am happier with the design.  Would love to hear what you think!

When you watch the video, you will see that I used a lot of Prima Snowflake paste.  In addition to being so sparkly and perfect for winter themed projects, it also worked perfectly with this piece to give the look of sparkly beach foam! It's always fun to think outside the box!

I didn't put a real message in my bottle, but think I need to go back and do that!  It would be fun to include it, just in case someone opens it someday!

Make sure to see what the other teachers did with the St. Tropez collection!   Everyone had such beautiful projects!  Don't forget to join us on Facebook!  And, as always, I invite you to the Prima Blog to see what the design team is creating!

    1. Thank you Tina! The Bubble Stencil is from Prima and is called Bubbles 961299. I missed that one! :) The wired rope is a trim that I got at Michaels. I don't have the spool anymore, so I can't tell you more exact information. Sorry! Be sure to look in the trim departments instead of at actual rope. Hope this helps!
