Sock Hopping with Adornit! Day 2

It's day 2 of the Adornit Blog Hop!  Today we invite you to a sock hop!  So get your groove on and follow us along today's hop.  Today the featured collection is Vintage Groove!  This one is another really versatile collection.  It has so many options included all in one collection.  Anything from summery and bright to wintery and rich goes with this fabulous collection!  So beautiful and another one for your must haves!

Today it is my turn to share some cards that I made.  The Vintage Groove collection made these really easy to do.  There are wonderful papers, great stickers and of course, the beautiful ribbons.

With my smile card, I really concentrated on just the paper.  I just fussy cut some of the flowers and the title spot, then added lots of pop dots.  Finish up with a bit of hand stitching and a bow.

My next card is something new that I tried.  I used a punch to make three scalloped squares.  Instead of using the punched shapes, I used the negative that was left after punching.  Again, I added pop dots between the layers of paper to add a bit of extra dimension.  Super easy!  Add some punched and scrunched flowers, pop on one of the fabulous journal cards and that's it!  Another easy one!

Now... as you know... Adornit is giving away this collection!!  All you have to do is hop along with us!

If you made it here from Suzanne's blog, you are on your way and your next stop is Melinda's Blog.  If you started here, hop back to Suzanne's blog so you can start at the beginning.  Finally, don't forget to stop by Adornit's Blog at the end to tell them about your hop!  That is the last step to getting entered for a chance to
Win the entire Vintage Groove Collection!

Thanks for dropping by and be sure to join us tomorrow for the final day of the hop and another fabulous collection!

  3. I'm a beginner card maker, and your work is such an inspiration! I'd love to win this collection so I can make something like you've done. I especially like the combination of colors your used in your "Smile" card, and I always like scalloped edges. That hand stitching just makes the whole thing say "I made this just for you!" Lucky recipient!
